Hi

I am planning a family SELF drive trip to Uganda. I would like some advise on the must see's and must do's especially things that involve Ugandan culture and voluntry work although the genral touristy things are also a must. I would also love any advice on places to camp/stay/eat. I will be in Uganda for nearly 3 weeks although 1 week will be spent working in a orphanage in Masaka.
I was also wondering if someone could give me a name of a ugandan car hire company that does self drive and camping equipment for any price as I can not for the life of me find one.
Any advise would be gratefully recieved as I feel my previouse trip only brushed over the surfaceof uganda as I spent my whole time in Masaka at the orphange which was incredible but I know there is so much more to be seen!!!!

Thank You very much

To the original poster:

use a company at least listed on http://www.auto.or.ug/members.htm

If a company is not listed there, its not officially registered as a tour company in Uganda. A bit like a person opening a dentist practise without being a dentist. Something goes wrong, you are totally on your own. Any serious company is registered with AUTO.
