Hi gang,

Just wanted to quickly find out if anyone has any recent info and/or suggestions about routes hiking through the Rwenzoris. From what i understand RMS runs the central circuit but theyve had some seriously bad press in the guidebooks and forums. The other routes are run by RTS but im not sure how these compare to the central circuit?

If anyone can offer any pearls of wisdom about any info or experiences they have had with these routes or companies i would really appreciate it!

Great thanks - thats pretty much what ive gathered. But did the guys you spoke to have any complaints about RMS because i know they have a pretty dodgey reputation?

Make sure to pay a private trekker guide/cook to go with you up. do not solely rely on rms for meals
