Hi

Could someone advise me on going to Uganda in August is it the rainy season? If yes how bad will the effect be on my trip?

Currently Uganda has very unstable seasons.

For safety, you have to carry rain preventing gears, boots, vests, warm clothes. carry a mixture of clothes for safety. August is normally a rainy season in Uganda but it is unpredictable. your safari will not be affected in case you rent a terrain resistant car.
