I am taking a trip with Matoke and have a few lodging choices such as the Bush Lodge which looks very basic however seems set more inside the woods than say Mweya Lodge. Mweya Lodge is more of a hotel but after being on trip for 9 days think it could be a nice change? The reviews of Mweye are mixed. Has anyone had any experience at Bush Lodge or perhaps Jacana Lodge which I heard was nice also?

The stunning views, fantastic food and service and the decoration of this lodge is among the best I've seen in East Africa. If you can afford it, upgrade. I haven't been to Jacana or the Bush Lodge, but I did have a hippo at 5 feet from my dining table at Mweya.
