Which one would you choose?
Especially landscape-wise. I would love camps with a great view ...
Especially if we're going to Kidepo later -- which one is more different? (Kidepo is the best one, probably, but doesn't have hippos, for example)

PS: don't say "depends on what you want" - i want to hear YOUR opinions!!

Murchison. Loads of hippos there. The river trip is lovely and you can hike up the side of the Murchison Falls, which are well worth seeing.
That's what I chose, I haven't been to Kidepo or QENP, but thoroughly enjoyed Murchison. It was easy to organise the visit from Masindi.

Hey la_crisis,

Haven't been to kidepo, but on several occasions i have spent multitudes of time in Queen Elizabeth and Murchison fall national parks. And i would choose Murchison over Queen Elizabeth, the former has lots of wildlife including hippos, and the magnificent water falls you cant find anywhere in uganda, Q.E has the Kazinga Channel with lots of birds and hippos too, but the water falls in Murchison, you got to see it.

And recently Chobe Safari Lodge is adding lots of value to Murchison falls, so nice place to stay and great wildlife to catch.

Enjoy ...

If going to Kidepo - Murchison, but the Kazinga trip at QE is outstanding, saw lions at QE, whereas only tracks at Murchison, although latter has giraffes and falls and...is en route to Kidepo + / -.

If going to Kidepo, which is great, definitely choose Murchision. And really, Murchsion is a bit better than Queen because it has giraffes and the Falls!
Lions are often seen at Murchison. And hippos are a given - lots of them.
One warning, November is the rainy season, so grasses are high anywhere. This can disturb seeing lions and leopards.

If you need to organize a tour, lodging, transport, or whatever, I suggest Routes to Africa. They do great and are affordable, working well with you. info@routestoafrica.com
