Hi, I was hoping you could suggest a place to stay in Kampala. I know this question has been asked in the past but I have narrowed my search down to two place: Aminaz Garden Place ($75) or The Lodge ($50). The Lodge seems to be further away from the downtown but I've read many good reveiws and has a nice web site. The AGP doesn't seem to have a web site but is closer to the downtown. Any thoughts? Thanks...

The Lodge is not Kampala...if you want to be in Kampala, that is not a good place to be.

Also some more: Bokoto Guest Houses (very cheap and well located in Ntinda),...

I'd say Ntinda isn't the best place to be (at night). Must say I enjoyed 'the supermarket' lots of times.

Just go and sleep at the lodge Kampala they have nice rooms and friendly staff and if you are going out of town like in queen Elizabeth national park don't miss to spend 1 or 2 nights in ihambasafarilodge.com and gorilla safari lodge in bwindi but the southern part of the national park.
