Are the Gorilla on Uganda soil or did they slip over to Congo?

They use to cross every 6 month but now it has taken the 1 and half years without crossing again that means they will never cross again.

They cross over big time. But there are gorilla families near this group. There are Nkuringo group and Nshongi group. These are parmanently in Uganda.

gorilla families Last year aroud this time they crossed from Rwanda to Mgahinga. There fore We should expect them any time from now.

I advise you to trek the ones of Bwindi. They are many in numbers and reliable. There are gorilla families in Nshongi, Nkuringo and main Bwindi

I am an independent traveller and don't want to spend a fortune for a gorilla tracking safari. 500 US$ is already A LOT of money for me.

I called the Kisoro office yesterday and booked for November. Seems fine ... :-)
