Has anyone used Matoke Tours for a trip through Uganda? We are looking to use them for a 12 day budget tour in July 2011. Would really appreciate your honest feedback.

Who has NOT heard of Matoke Tours, lol!
Matoke Tours is run by a young Dutch fellow who lives in Uganda for a loong time. They are probably the best outfitter you can get in Uganda, and growing very fast. And they are very good and def have an edge compared to others. They even have an office in Holland for bookings if you like to send your money there instead of Uganda, I think.

An excellent tour company which focuses on midrange. I joined a group tour in 2007 and got to know the company and their staff a bit better after that because I moved to Kampala for a while. I would definitely recommend this company, they offer excellent service for good prices and the staff is very professional and enthousiastic! They have both offices in Uganda as in Holland.
