I stayed at Amagara. It`s a great place, with GREAT food. Nice atmosphere. I recommend!

I came back from Nkuringo yesterday.

It took us 11 hours to drive from Nkuringo to Kampala. The weather is not good as it rains every day mist makes the drive slow down to about speed 10 because visibility is very bad.

Wagtail camp site is also good for back packers. It is a few kilometers from Nshongi , Mishaya and Kahungye gorilla families.

thanks for all the information - today we got the conformation for our permits - I called the wildlife office quite often ;-)

our first few days are fixed and the rest we will decide during our trip.

which group will you track?

Of recent the road from kisoro has been badly affected by weather. remeber to hire a 4WD car. it will cost you 80$ both ways.

I guess he is trekking either the main gorilla group here Nshongi, Mishaya or Kahungye, since he will be sleeping at Nshongi camp.
