I'm about to return to Uganda for a few weeks. Last time I was there, both my colleague and myself had a lot of trouble connecting to any wireless internet network with our Mac laptops and an iPhone - both at my hostel and at various cafés around Kampala, including the infamous Cafe Papp. We both have Mac laptops bought in the U.S., and we noticed that folks with PCs seemed to have no trouble, and even some folks with Macs bought outside the U.S. seemed able to connect fine also, which was strange. Has anyone else experienced this??? And, more importantly, any advice on what we could do (especially any adjustments to our computer settings) to ensure that we can access wireless while we're there? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

You might have a bit more luck posting this on another branch . . . Travel Tech located in The Lobby is probably your best bet.
