I finished a gorilla trek a couple weeks back and thought I would report on it. I arrived in Entebbe and took transport to Cassia Lodge in Kampala. The views were amazing and the food was good. It's a bit out of town but a nice place. I booked my gorilla trek with Gorilla Tours. The had great communications and decent prices. I took a three day tour only due to limited time. It's a solid 11 hour drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest from Kampala. The gorilla treking was amazing and worth every penny. They booked us at Gorilla Valley Lodge which is way up in the hills. It's really new and I recommend it. When I returned from the trek I stayed at Lake Victoria View Gueshouse in Entebbe. It's run by a great group of ladies and the food was amazing. It's good value for the money and is in a great neighbourhood. Happy trekking!
