From Entebbe Airport to Jinja

depends how long your flight was. Big old intentional flight, forget it and get a taxi. Popping over from Nairobi, head to Kampala and then the utter madness of the taxi park, it will add at least 2-3 hours to your trip though

From Entebbe to Kampala by special hire
Then from Kampala to Jina either by public transport or Special hire
It's a 2 hour drive

But do you know where the public taxis go from in kampala? From what station?
I'll arrive in Entebbe at 1:00 pm and really want to arrive in Jinja before dark. Do you know if that is possible?

old taxi park to Jinja, takes 3-4 hours (depends on the traffic which can be monumental, the 2 hours above is wildly optimistic) plus the time you have to wait at the station for the bus to fill up. Considering you will land and be out the plane by 1:20, baggage and visa is another 20 minutes you'll be on your way to kampala by 2, so at the taxi park by 3... touch and go if you'll be there by dark. I'd just get a special right to Jinja from the airport if you're worried, will cost you about $100 though

faithin3 - I have just travelled from Jinja to Kampala with your friend Aaron - not only was he reliable, but safe. Yes it took about 30 mins longer than the World Vision driver on Monday but I was in no hurry. He quoted 120,000 Ush ($60 US) but I tipped him and extra 10,000. My hotel in Jinja (Gately) regularly use him and fully recommend him. Just send a text message a couple of days in advance to confirm your details. He will pick up from Entebbe and take you back to Jinja.
