Hi,
I am off to Bwindi tomorrow, having found abus to take me to butogta. I will probalbly stay overnight in Butogota and then travel the final 17kms to Bwindi the next day as I have time .

After my gorilla trekking, I want to go to Ishasha to see the tree lions, and wondered if there are any day trips going there from Butogota?
After that I want to go to Kabale to access Lake Bunyoni, even if just for a day trip. Does anyone know if this is possoble? and how I can get from Butogota to Kabale.
I then plan to head from Kabale to Fort Portal. The main thing I would like to do there is go to Kibale to do a chimp trek or chimp habituation day (does anybody know exactly what happens during this?)
From Fort Portal I will return to Kampala.
I have 10 days to do all this, and don't have private transport (although would be happy to join up with anyone doing this route).
In short I am hoping to include:
Bwindi - gorilla trekking
Ishasha - tree lionss
Kabale - Lake Bunyoni
Kibale -chimps trekking/habituation
Fort Portal

I will have internet access later today, but not sure when I will get it as of tomorrow, so apologies if I cannot respond quickly to any posts.
Thanks for any help :)
Mandie

It seems to me that you are attempting quite a lot in 10 days without your own transport but I can not give you detailed info on actual journey times between these places - sorry
