Hi all,
I am getting to Entebbe next week and my flight lands at 7 AM. I would like to go straight to Kasese for a trek in the Rwenzoris, but I could not find any information about buses that leave later than the Post Bus at 8 AM. Are there any buses later during the day or I can only depart the following morning?
Thank you and inspiring journeys to everyone,
Alex
Big bus.. maybe, minibus - for sure. Get in a taxi, tell your English speaking driver you need a bus/minibus to Kasese, give him a small tip for hooking you up.

Buses leave when full and not at set times, apart from the Postbus, so there is a good chance you will be able to get one to Kasese that day. Alternatively, you can use minibuses as mentioned by #1 - not so comfortable (not that buses are comfortable) but you probably won't have to wait so long to leave Kampala.

A part from the posta Bus, there are other buses like Kalita , Perfect Coach and SB Safe Journey Buses. SB Safe Journey passe Mbarara town but its a sure deal it must stay in Kasese every evening. Kalita buses pass Fort portal to Kasese. This route is quicker compare to that of Mbarara to Kasese.
From Entebbe Airport, Get your taxi and tell you drive to go direct to Kalita Bus Packing Yard ( Buses to Kasese via Fort Portal)
If you fail to get a bus to Kasese through Kalita Bus Company, use the SB Safe journey buses through Mbarara, they are one othe most reliable transporters in Kasese town
If all busus are full, use any next bus to Mbarara, here you will connect with other Taxis( Matatus) to Kasese at any time. More information about Kasese town visit http://www.uganda-visit-and-travel-guide.com/kasese-town.html and at http://www.uganda-visit-and-travel-guide.com/kasese-district.html
