Wifi in rural Morocco

Country forums / Africa / Morocco

Hello,
does anybody know a place to stay in rural Morocco (not "villes nouvelles" of greater cities) with Wi-Fi connection for my laptop.

Preferably in one of these areas paying around 300 Dirhams per night but no more:

High Atlas
Chefchaouen
Essaouira
Moyen Atlas

Thanks!

We don't even have Wifi in Meknes - it is highly highly unlikely you'll find it in any of those places (though maybe Essaouira)

Peace A,

When you say, "We don't even have Wifi in Meknes" do you include your homes? hotels? Or just cybercafes?

Wifi is widespread in the towns and nearby rural villages in Morocco now - the nrarer to the atlantic coast i understand, though however i had access to wifi in Marrakech just off the main street Mohammed V using my laptop till 3 am on the balcony under the stars.

Jamal - I have never, ever seen Wifi in Meknes ANYWHERE - home or otherwise.

I just came back from Morocco and tried to use WIFI, in the south I was not very successful, in fact I didn't find any. My best places were in Marrakech in Hotel Toulousain using WIFI from the nearby internetcafe in my own room. And Hotel Tarik in Tanger, where the receptionist let me use it in the foyer, although I didn't stay there.
Even in El Minzah hotel I could not get connected.
Was better in Nouakchott, unbelievable.
