Whistling Thorns

Has anyone been to Whistling Thorns lately and done the trail rides through the Ngong Hills, it sounded quite promising in the LP guide but the reviews on Tripadvisor are not very good (though they´re quite old).

I was there in April 2009 - but only for a meal. The food is fantastic (just as it was several years ago when I last visited). However, I was disappointed to find the toilet flush system broken - and a handwritten note attached thereon describing how to operate it..

I think you need to get some perspective on the time scales involved.
My post was made in on 5th September 2009. I referred to a visit I made in April 2009 - which was one and a half years ago.
Do you honestly expect a toilet to remain broken for that long??
