Whats the climate like in Luxor over christmas

Can anyone help we're thinking of going to Luxor over christmas/new year i see the temps are 20 - 23 (we normally go in july/august so it's very hot) would this be ideal for for catching a tan and swimming.

I was in Luxor at the beginning of last December and it was a very pleasant 24°. Didn’t swim and I don’t want a tan!

The only swimming you'll be doing is in hotel pools
