Village of Sheikh Hamid on Sinai

Hi. Can anybody offer an educated information on village of Sheikh Hamid on Sinai?
Is there any accomodation available there to stay overnight?
And is there any possibility to organize a short trip from there (but no camels please) - I mean a jeep to take me with my wife to the entrance of the White Canyon and from the oasis of Ain Hudra to the village of St. Catherine, and a guide to accompany me through the White Canyon to the oasis of Ain Hudra.
