Travel companion for Joburg to Cape town trip

Dear Travellers, I am looking to go on a trip from joburg to cape town. I prefer to take a flight from joburg to CT and back. I am flexible with the dates. I wish to see the table mountain and surrounding landscape. I also wish to explore the streets of cape town and local food. You may suggest other places too. Budget is not very high and i am ready to walk a lot. Please get back to me so that we can plan any further. Lets beat the heat :)

Hello :) I am a bit flexible with the dates but it would be good if you plan it for the first week or the last week of november. I don't want to travel between 10 to 18th of November because I have a conference to attend. Hiring the car is a good idea and is quite cheap as well i guess. Let me know when you would be arriving in joburg. Cheers :)
