Ssese Islands...

Hi,
I was thinking of going to the Ssese Islands for 3 or 4 days, just to rest. Is it worth it? Where would you go to rest?

Hello! Personally I found the Ssese Islands overpriced and overhyped. The beaches are nice - but only considering Uganda is a landlocked country, they don't compare with Zanzibar or the likes. If you want somewhere to relax away from it all I'd reccommed visiting the Hairy Lemon - an island on the Nile just north of Jinja. It can have a bit of a party atmosphere some nights as it attracts a lot of crazy kayakers but during the day it is a lazy paradise! And the food is great too.
