Sharm el Sheik Airport to Bus Station

Could anybody give me advise how to get from the airport in Sharm el Sheik to the busstation of Sharm?
I am arriving at the airport
on monday the 12.11.07 at 1.30 pm (inshallah)
and I want to take the bus to Dahab (East Delta Bus Co.) that leaves the bus station at 5pm.
I think it should be possible to catch the bus?
Do I have to make a reservation?

you'll make it fine and you won't need any reservation as most passengers get off at sharm anyway. With some luck you might have time for lunch as well.

or...... hire a taxi directly from the airport to Dahab..its not really that expensive..... u can haggle it down to LE150 or less (they will initially demand 300).. that only about 15 UK pounds. I recently done it for LE 110 (10 Uk pounds)

Careful with the taxis from Sharm to Dahab. I got in once that turned out to not have the paperwork to get from Sharm to Dahab - he was only approved to drive in Sharm and Na'ama Bay. Police offered to take a bribe to let us through but we declined and hitched a ride on a hotel minibus that had just dropped people off at the airport and was on its way back to Dahab. We paid the hotel minibus driver 100LE for the two of us.

If you know which dahab camp you're staying at you could ask them to send a cab for you, I think 100 is a "reasonable" price, although by Egyptian standards it's way too much.
