Sfinx in scaffolds

Has anybody been to the pyramids recently? Is it still so crowded or a bit better with all the demonstrations?
What about the sfinx, is it still in scaffolding?

A friend was there the first week of January. He said there are no tourists at the pyramids. In fact, he was the only guest at the hotel he was staying in Cairo.

was there two weeks ago and stayed in giza . the only problems were the moans about no tourists due to the demonstrations . enjoyed the stay . there was a small peice of scafolding on the spinx , but due to constant repairs i beleave it is always there . enjoy

these days there are not many tourists . pyramids are not crowed . spinx happy after the revolution
