Quirimbas Archipelago

My partner and I will be in the North of Mozambique in early December. We want to go to the Quirimbas Archipelago islands, is it possible to do this on a budget? We were wanting to spend about $50 each on accommodation per night, is this even possible? The resorts seem very expensive and I can't seem to find any cheaper accommodation online. Also, what are the must-do and see things while we're there?

Hello there,
when I was there a while ago they were no lodge or hotel u can stay on Ibo island ask around i'm sure now they some hostel or u can camp in people's garden for nothing (cheap) best thing to do is to fish, walk and dive but at my time u needed ur own gear
enjoy anyway great place
u can do day trip to the ilands around ask the local to take u
