Nosy Mangabe

When my husband and I visited this Island July 2014 we had the place entirely to ourselves. It was fantastic! Like a private paradise! We camped and strolled on the beach and went on many nature walks. Our guide, a local named Donna (pronounced "Doughna") was awesome!!!! We spoke with him on the phone in English (he also speaks and writes French), he met us at the airport, and arranged all our transpiration, lodging, food, guided walks etc. The cost was 470.000 Ar for two days and one night on the Island (one of the places we definitely would have stayed longer). If you are thinking about visiting Nosy Mangabe, do it! If you are looking for a guide, e-mail Donna!

Oh, I forgot to mention that we also saw loads of wales in addition to the wildlife on the Island... what a great place.
