Namibia safari/tours

Country forums / Africa / Namibia

Hello,
Can anyone recommend a reputable company or organization that does safaris/tours of Namibia? Doesn't necessarily have to be a budget tour but definitely not "sky's the limit" when it comes to price!

Thanks

Go to www.namibia.org/. They have THE best selection of information regarding traveling in Namibia. The Cardboard Box Travel Shop has everything from self drives to tours - even "honeymoon tours". I used them for car rental and accomodation info and they were great!

Wild Safari Africa at http://www.wildsafariafrica.com also has very extensive knowledge about the region, particularly Namibia. I used them for a self-drive tour. We were originally thinking of joining a group but after discussing our options quickly realized joining a large group of strangers wasn't what we were looking for. I'd suggest to self-drive and then get your guides/knowledge along the way by joining day tours and such.

Another recommendation for Cardboard Box. My family used them for both a guided trip and a self drive and they were very good and very responsive.
