| grace_1909:15 UTC07 Jul 2008 | Hi, we are two medical students from the UK currently doing our medical elective in Bwindi, we have been working at the health centre for a month so far and have another month to go, it is amazing! When we finish our elective we are planning to go to murchison falls however it is very expensive and unfortuantely the red chilli hostel (which is the cheapest trip) is not running on the weekend we are free to go. I was wondering if there was anyone out there who knew of other budget trips to the falls or if there was anyone who has already organised a trip but would wish to make it cheaper by including two other people. We will be finishing at the hospital around 1st august, and leaving uganda on the 5th august, we can be flexible within a day or two of when we can go.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated it would be such a shame to leave uganda and not see a single elephant or giraffe;-(
Thank you Grace

| goingplaces09:12 UTC08 Jul 2008 | hi there, i was also in uganda as a medical student on elective. and when i wanted to go to murchison via red chillis it was booked that weekend. i found another budget company "african travellers" that is based in kampala and jinja that also does trips to murchison. and prices were similar to red chillis and all the meals were included. so anyways here is the contact number of the person i was in touch with, names timothy, number is +256-712458387. good mix of people on the safari, volunteers etc and i had a good time. we did the hike up the falls and also went on a safari drive. cheers
