Mt. Kenya Nelion and Batian

Does anyone know of a guide or guide service for Mt. Kenya, Nelion and Batian summits. I've been to very high altitudes loads and have NO interest in Point Lenana.

You can contact mountexpert@yahoo.com for expert advice.We did a trip with them to mt.kenya and kili and i believe they can be of great help to you.They have an office loaded with all climbing gears.

agree with michael's contact, Peter Mburu is the guy to speak to.
I did a trip with him back in August and him, his gear and his guides/porters are top-notch.

Just because it's a little lower than Batian and Nelion is no reason to insult it like that. It's still a nice little peak...

There's loads of information on Thorn Tree for Point Lenana. A search will give me that. I don't see an insult in seeking the information I need and trying to avoid responses that won't help.

If I can get Batian organized, I'll book a ticket, come over and try that, doing some circuit on Mt. Kenya, maybe including Lenana, maybe not The scenery sounds fabulous. And either before or after this, I'll go up Kilimanjaro and do a safari. Some variation or other on all the usual stuff.
If it doesn't work out, maybe another time.

I have found some information on the Mountain Club of Kenya website but it would be helpful (and reassuring) to hear from someone who's had personal experience of a specific guide on the more technical route I'd like to do.

We'll see if it works out.

Well, go for it though very challenging.Its very beautiful with very experienced guides.Most of these guide work privatelly though.
Please i did Batian last year in Jan through the North standard route as Normal route via Southern side had lot of snow.
