Kruger end nov beginning dec?

Country forums / Africa / South Africa

Hey
Im going to mozambique end of nov, is IT worth going to kruger for a day or Two during this period ? To much vegetation then for seeing animals ?

Hi,
At the moment there is a major drought in the country, so the vegetation in Kruger is suffering somewhat. So not as dense as it would usually be. However it is incredibly hot in that area around that time of year, up to 45 degrees Celcius on certain days.
If you would like to visit and your only worry is the density of the vegetation for fear of not seeing anything, there is no need to worry.

Nope, there's almost no vegetation at all the moment, because of the drought as Krimpvarki says. And even if it rains soon and there will be more vegetation, you'll still see animals, it can be harder, but it is worth the trip.
