| balcanexplorer18:12 UTC08 Sep 2014 | Hi all experienced Africa travelers!
My first trip to Africa is coming up. I have aprox 3 weeks, starting 17 dec ending 12 jan.
I plan to fly into Cape town and spend 5 nights there. (shark dive, robinson island etc)
Then fly to Livingston for 8 nights. (Safari, rafting, party)
Then fly to Porte Noire (congo(Meeting friends and see gorillas)
Then Oslo (home)
My question is:
1: Is it possible to do the Livingstone-porte noire trip by train/bus/car ?
2: I listed my wishes for wht to do, would appreciate any tips and hints for who to choose and where to go for the different things and also tips for other activities :)
Thanks in advance!

Absolutely no way, you'd need 3 months to do that journey in a very sturdy 4x4
Point Noire isn't visited that much & from what I've heard from friends it's not too exciting ... there's a lot to do around Cape Town & Livingstone, you've not mentioned Table Mountain or Vic Falls for example

You need to have accommodation & certain trips pre-booked otherwise you have no chance, such as Robben Island & Table Mountain.
