Hi!i Have been to Baobab beach resort at the edge of north coast beach. The place looks so grateful for swiming and reluxition. The baobab beach resort is close to the edge of the northcoast beach and close too to the ocean. The place offer some boungaloos and standard rooms at a very reasonable price.Standard rooms with almost rate of 80--100usd and bongaloos for 45--60usd.That was for year 2006.The places is most wondereful on the north cost beach. It is also owned by zanzibar guy.To support the African people, its better to book your holday with african company.incase im ready to assist pse. | 2
100-150 USD is upper end on Zanzibar, you can find really nice places for that range. Nungwi Beach resort is nice and sits by itself but is walking distance to lots of bars and restaurants. | 3
Hi, sorry, but mad paddler is a bit off. $150 is far, far from the upper end. The Kilimanjaro opened up a resort, i think in Nungwi ,and it's WAY more. | 4
You CAN get upper end places all over Zanzibar for that price range. There might be places that are more, but 100-150US goes a really long way there and gets you a lot. There are also places in Stone Town that are over 200US but there are many upper end really nice places under 100US. There is upper end and then there is rediculous and paying for a name and silly things. | 5
Ras Nungwi might be within your price range, meals included. It is lovely. The tide does go out quite a bit, but you can kayak out and swim and it is a beautiful place to stay and swim. | 6
