As earlier promised here is my brief feed back from our gorilla trip to uganda and rwanda.
Our safari went on so smoothly in both countries.
In uganda We treked Nkuringo gorilla family, these gorillas are fantastic. Driving from Kampala to Kisoro nkuringo campsite took us 9 hours. The road that leads to nkuringo side was not good, it was sliperly and scaring. At some point our guide cleared the way that was broked by falling trees caused by heavy rains.
The campsite and meals were all great.
The next day the game rangers helped us to locate the gorillas in about 30 minutes hike in a densely populated forest. these gorillas are fantastic and by mid day we were back at the camp.
In the after noon we were entertained by the local community club. We enjoyed their dance so much, interesting!
In Rwanda we slept in muhabura lodge. very nice hotel.
It took us one and half hour to see the gorillas.
All the gorillas were great though with different trekking experince.
I highly recommend katona tours every thing was organised in our interests, both billy our safari guide and jackie reservationist are proffessional and experienced.
Billy respected all our interests during the trip.
