Can somebody help me with the list of forest reserves in Uganda?

There are so many in Uganda, it really depends on why you are interested. If for primates, you have the Imepnetrable forests in the west, each national park also has their forested areas and then you have ones like Mabira on the road between Kampala and Jinja that has an abundance of monkies and bird life. I think you can check out the UWA site on the internet and the other Ugandan custodian is National Forests Authority. Most do have places to stay and gradually the communities around them are seeing tourists as a bonus so offering walks, guided birding and accomodation. But you are in luck if its birds you are into as Uganda has one of the largest species variation in the world/ It is also dependant on the time of year as many birds use the Nile as their migratory route from Europe. Park off in Jinja and get your binoculars out!
