This is a long shot but we thought we'd try......
Tomorrow, we've arranged a felucca from Aswan to Kom Ombo, with road transport on to Luxor via temples at Edfu. Looking for anyone else who might be interested in coming.
We are a couple (Australian 36, Spaniard 35) and are easy-going. We were recommended the captain through the tourist office (which is apparently trustworthy) and boats look good.
Costs are EGP420 for the boat, plus EGP50 for food and 5 for permit. Up to 8 can travel on the boat.
If anyone wants to travel from Aswan tomorrow and is interested in splitting the costs, we're happy to share. Drop us a line here or on inessuarez@hotmail.com. Or just ask the guy in the tourist office by the train station: he'll know who we are and who the captain is.
