Ethiopia Rafting

I see there are a few rafting operators offering descents in Ethiopia, particularly the Omo River. But is it better (I suppose I'm really thinking cheaper) to fix up a rafting trip from within Ethiopia?

Hi, I am planning to travel around Ethiopia from 28th March till mid-April. I do know that it is much more expensive to travel solo as opposed to in a group, so if you are planning a trek/rafting trip etc. and are looking for other ppl to join, then let me know and if we are headed the same way around the same times, perhaps we could get a small group together, which would be more cost-effective.
I'm not too regular on thorntree, so pl. email in case you might be interested.

Hi. I wouldn't be looking to go until October or so which I think is the time to go rafting, after the rains. But I hope your trip comes off.
