According to various press releases coming from South Africa, reggae star Lucky Dube was shot during a carjacking. Yet another reggae great shot in a mindless crime..... RIP

I think the real tragedy with Lucky Dube is the role that Apartheid and "Freedom" played in his life and death.

It was under the Apartheid Government that he created his wealth and stardom.
It was under the Government of "Freedom" that he lost his life!
