| txhokie20:18 UTC20 Jun 2007 | Hi all,
We are considering a trip to Egypt in December, and are looking at two tours.
GAP Adventures "Egyptian Journey" http://www.gapadventures.com/tour/DPEJ

and

Imaginative Travel "Beyond the Pyramids" http://preview.tinyurl.com/3yb9d5

The trips look pretty similar and hit most of the same sights. Main differences I see are that with IT, you spend an extra night on a felucca, and a night trekking with Bedouins and camping in the desert. If I read the details accurately, with IT you climb Mt. Sinai to see sunrise, with GAP you see sunset.
Prices are pretty comparable - GAP is a bit more expensive, but I think it includes more of the admission fees to sights/activities.
If anyone has done either of these tours, or even just the activities that they include, please share any thoughts you might have. I think the companies have equally good reputations, but any comments about either GAP or IT are welcome, also.
Thanks!
