me and my girlfriend are planning to go to Kenya in october for 4 weeks and apart from the usual safari we want to stay on the beach for a week or two.
is anybody out there who can suggest a cheap place to stay? we do not want to pay much but at the same time we want a safe, clean and good value for money place.
we do not mind if it is not facing the beach. we heard about tiwi but we would like to try somewhere different. has anybody heard about kikambala?

| eve123:20 UTC16 Aug 2007 | I can't help you with specific places to stay but I would recommend that you visit Watamu for a few days. It's got beautiful beaches and it's much more relaxed and laid-back compared to Mombasa/Diani beach, etc.

i've had of kikambala, its cheaper and well its also safe and clean.

however they are building a new place for independent travelers which may be finish by the time u go there
my friends cannot recall the name exactly but i think it was called msafiri guest house or msafiri cottages - i guess u can check in google

We have always stated at moonlight bay but can sample out maweni beach cottages neext to it.
