| anonymous00:58 UTC29 Jun 2007 | Hi everyone,
Im hoping to be in Tanzania in Sep/Oct maily for wildlife viewing, there will be at leats two of us. I was wondering if anyone can reccomend a company or tour opporator to go with, who had reliable vehicles, a good guide and where you felt the best places to visit were for nature, beauty and all out African experience. Were looking at a 7-8 day safari. Then we want to head into the mountains to se the gorillaz, does any opporator include these two options?? Thank you very much and safe travels.

Good luck.

The veichle was top notch, driver/guide was enthusiastic and knowledgeable and we would reccommend them. We went to: Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro Crater and Serengeti. Each were amazing in different ways. Hope this helps but if you have any specific q's let me know.

We are looking for a similar itinerary for about 6-7 days and are trying to find a good and reliable tour operator. Any suggestions are welcome! Thanks!!

| bebsi04:19 UTC03 Jul 2007 | I just came back from a 6 day camping safari with Tropical Trails. I had expected aged car, very basic food and rugged sleeping arrangement. how wrong was i. TT really looked after in every aspect. The guide Hassan was very very friendly and knowledgeable. The cook Rasheed never failed to impress us with both the quality and variety of his yummy cooking. we were so well looked after that not only we extended our safari by 2 days, we also felt lost and helpless with out Hassan the very next day. :)
TT's price was slightly higher than other tour operators (eg sunny safari), although entirely justifiable. for example, we had a cook and a chef for 4 of us. also our tent is so big that we could easily fit 3 people in it. did i mention you could stand up in it too? :)
check for yourself some of the fun times we had with Hassan in the dozen photos on my blog. the rest of photos could help anyone who in interested in finding out some of the things to do in Zanzibar.

I don't think there are any Gorilla add-ons offered in TZ.

Cheers Benni
