Is air madagascar website down ? anybody know other channel to buy ticket ?
Is the advantage to get discount on domestic flight if buy international flight with air madagascar still valid ?

Hi, I can't shed any light on the Air Madagascar website or internal flight discounts, but flew with Kenya Airways when I went to Madagascar in 2013.

Contact the lovely people at http://www.aviareps.com/ who represent Air Mad in the UK and can issue tickets, or point you to travel agents who can. You don't have to buy direct from Air Mad.

And yes, major discounts on domestic fligths if you fly with them internationally.

Yes, the 50% off is till valid. I made a purchase last month for a flight in June 2015. I contacted the call centre (via email) and much to my surprise, they responded the next day. I had the same question regarding the 50% off.
Ten years ago, when I first visited Mad, the flight were dirt cheap (ie $100 USD one way, Tana- Sambava). In 2013, I visited again and the cost of flights had exploded (ie Tana to Sambave over 230 Euro, one way). Definitely worth getting that deal!

In order to get that discount,can we do it online at their website or must go to their office/call centre ?

Supposedly, they noted that if you book as a "multi destination" ticket, the website will automatically register all additional domestic flights at 50% off. However, if you only book the international flight through the website (which is what I did), you have to call the call centre to book the domestic flights in order to get the discount.

The first reply read like this: " With a return ticket Joburg you can have the discount of 50% on all internal flights. You can purchase the ticket together on our website ifnot you can buy it separately on the phone by calling us with the one of the numbers below"

It didn't quite make sense, so I had to ask them to clarify...
This was their second reply:
"kindly purchase these flights with 50% discount at
http://airmadagascar.com/en/multi-destination-flights"

So I read between the lines and made the assumption that this is what they meant. Hence, booking "multi destination" to get the 50% off additional domestic flights
