I think we should have a section here on Malaria?
I could not see anything in relation to it on the FAQ list, or the health branch.

I agree, but in fact the TOP of the health branch has a sticky about Kinga ... which should drive it home to people, including our latest poster here BradwellJackson who seems to think you can shake it off like flu!

I definitely agree! Poor Nutrax seems to have to repeat herself every couple days with the same information in response to the same questions.

Post #2 on the Health Branch FAQ has links to places to get expert info about malaria.
I post de novo to most malaria threads for two reasons--one is that things change. By not having bolierplate stuff on my computer ot cut & paste, I am forced to do a bit of research for each post. That makes me keep up to date.
Second: Alas, I have discovered that if I post links, a lot of posters do not bother to read them. I will carefully look up the latest on the malaria situation in, say, Togo and post links to info from experts. The next poster will say "eye of newt works great to prevent malaria" and the OP responds. "Terrific! I am off to buy eye of newt now." If I actually post the information, there seems to be a chance that the OP may actually read it.
And, further alas, a lot of people can't be bothered to read the FAQ or seem to feel that people's personal opinions are more valuable than advice from medical experts.
