accra to bamako or segou

hi, i need to get from accra to bamako or segou about nov 4th and back about 12 th nov this year , do you have any advice on buses, planes, bush taxis ??? thanks lorraine

Please clarify:

Do you plan to leave Accra on the 4th and be back in Accra on the 12th?

If so, you should plan on flying at least one way. (Otherwise the bulk of your trip will be in transit.)

Accra to ouagadougou about 24 hours by STC (but they don't go everyday, a combination of other transport would mean that you may need 36 hours to get to ouaga, accra to tamale (or accra-kumasi.tamale), tamale to ouaga), ouaga to bobo 4 and half to 5 hours hours with TCV (more than 5 buses a day, last one at midnight gets to bobo by 5 AM), bobo to bamako about 10 hours again with TCV, bus leaves evey morning at 7 AM, or 6.30, not really sure anymore. So all together I think you may get to bamako in 3 days, spend 3 days in bamako and be back in Accra on 12th

flights, but rather expensive are available via ANTRAK GHANA or AIR BURKINA, but not every day, maybe twice a week
