2 weeks in Kenya/Tanzania, what to do

Hey everyone,
I am currently in Nairobi and will be leaving Nairobi this weekend for 2 weeks to do travel in Zanazibar and Kenya or Tanzania.
I was hoping to get some feedback on what you all think of these itineraries and possible alterations/suggestions.
I am travelling with my GF who has done most of the touristy stuff in Kenya already and so we are avoiding the normal suggestions.

Itinerary 1
Camel safari for 1 week in northern Kenya around lake Turkana
1 week or so in Zanzibar

Itinerary 2
Travel to Dar es Salaam and take the train across Tanzania to Kigoma
Spend a week in Bujumbura
Then travel to view the gorillas close to Kigali.
Fly to Zanzibar and spend a week there.

all suggestions/advice are appreciated.

I had exactly 15 days in Tanzania and what I did was a 7 day safari by jeep around 5 different parks in Tanzania and then climbed Mt. Kilimanjar for 6 days. The safaris in Tanzania are wonderful and I would highly recommmend spending some time doing that.....There's a lot of stuff to do for all kinds of hobbyists.
