Hello All,
I'm planning on climbing Kili and a safari in Serengeti/Ngorongoro in the last 2 weeks of Jan (I arrive in Moshi on Jan 18), Hope to start climbing on Jan 19. I'm planning on the 6 day machame route. And a 4 day safari.
Right now, I'm alone, but am looking to hook up with others who may be interested to reduce costs. If you are going to be in the area around that time and are interested, please send me a PM.
I'm also planning on heading to Zanzibar later for some diving. The heights, the…
hey guys,
I was planning to stay in Tanzania through april, which means I'll be in the middle of the easter holidays.

cheers
My husband and I are going to Tanzania in February/March. Our number one priority is to do the Northern Circuit, but our time is limited and we're finding many places are already booked. Because of this we're looking at booking through a tour, that would have us staying in some of the lodges in the game parks. I've done some searching online and I'm finding there are really varied comments about the some of the lodges. The positive reviews say they are quite touristy, but clean, suitable for…
Hi,
Have 2 questions:
1) Would like to do the Machame route as it seems more beautiful but is camping really uncomfortable due to the freezing temperatures and therefore much better to do the Marangu route and stay in the huts?
2) Does anyone know whether Zara tours are any good?
Am about to book so any quick advice would be much appreciated.
Many thanks
Tim

Hi
we are 2 canadians guys, 26 and 27 yrs old, looking to do a camping safaris + climbing Mount Meru. We will be arriving in Arusha on Friday Dec 21st afternoon. Anyone interested in joining. If you have a similar plan and you would like to get something organized please pm me.
Does anyone know if it will be the high season? Can we wait and book in Arusha to save money?
thanks
Does anyone know if it is worth climbing Mt Meru independently as opposed to an organized trek?
How much money would I save 100-200USD?
Is it worth the trouble?
Also, do you have access to hot water (for cooking dried food)?
Is Dec 22st a busy time?
thanks in advance
Hi there,
Are there any good spots for snorkelling in Kenya or Tanzania? I am in particular looking for a destination where it is possible to do good snorkelling just off the beach. Furthermore, it would be great if budget accommodation is available too.
Thanks a lot in advance for your help.
Cheers
Ingo
I'm looking for someone who is travelling from Toronto Canada to Moshi, anytime in the next year or so. I would like to send a small box to the underpriviledged kids of Moshi.
Can anyone recommend a nice hotel located near the Parkside Hotel departure point of the bus to Arusha?
The Parkside looks too dodgey, but I don't want to spend $50 going from the airport to the Fairview hotel and then another $50 going from there to the Parkside next morning.
Many thanks
