Hello!
I am going to Tanzania this May to do a medical volunteering placement in Arusha. However I have booked flights return to Nairobi from the UK 10 days before I am due to start my placement as I want to climb Kilimanjaro! I am just wondering if anyone else wants to join me. It would be around the 24th april - 3rd may but I am flexible within that. The more the merrier and it keeps the cost down!
Let me know :)

Hi everyone, just looking for some advice on a safari itinerary. At the moment there are 2 of us travelling at the end of March/beginning of April. There is the possibility of a 3rd friend joining us. Do many lodges/tented campsites cater for groups of 3?

I would also appreciate any feedback as we fine tune our itinerary.

At the moment it is looking like
Day 1: walking safari and canoeing in Arusha NP.
Day 2: Tarangire np
Day 3: Ngorongoro crater
Day 4-6: Serengeti
Day 7: Lake Manyara

I have…

Hello!
I am a 29 year old who has been looking forward to climbing Kilimanjaro for the last couple of years. For the last few months I have been training and putting the wheels in motion to do the climb in March of this year. I have had 'bad' hips for the last year or so but I have adapted my training so as not to cause them too much pain and now that I no longer run they haven't been causing me too much trouble.

During the week I went to see an orthopaedic surgeon as I had made the…

Hey!
We're two people, one from sweden and one from norway, looking to do a 4-day safari around 10-13 of february. Anyone interested in joining us to get the price down? I guess two more people would be perfect.

Dears,

I'm preparing for a trip to Kilimanjaro in March. And I have some questions:

How is the whether in March ? Is that possible to hike Kilimanjaro then ?

What route should we use ? What are aproximetly cost of it ? I have an offer for 1250 for 6 days. Do you think is that possible to make it cheaper ? ( 3 ppl)

After Kilimanjaro we have more or less 5 days left. And we think about Zanzibar is it the best choice on to do list ?
Or we miss something ?

Please advice !
Thanks
Jacek

Hello!

Looking for a travel buddy or a group to join for a safari in Tanzania. I"ll be in Moshi, but can migrate :) Are there shorter safaris? I have free time between February 24-27 and then headed to Zanzibar afterward. Anyone interested in joining?

Would be super thankful for information about the border crossings of Kobero (Tanzania) and Rusumo (Rwanda). Been a while since I've been on the backpacker scene. Would like to know if there is transport enough in this western part of Tanzania and if the route from Kobero to Bujumbura is OK/safe/possible.
