I can't find clear information.
I read that a company would organise it for you for about $1200 per person including guide, porters, camping equipment and food. But i heard that if i just hire a licensed guide and find porters and organise everything myself then it would be cheaper. Can anyone tell me how much it would be approximately? Thanks!

i volunteered in tanzania, songea for 3 months and i loved it. it was in an orphanage. fell in love with this wonderful country
question is..is it possible to find job or intership in moshi or arusha, i would like to do rehabilitation (with children if possible) after injuries or if they are in certain conditions (cerebral palsy, etc..). i graduated at faculty of kinesiology, and i specifed as kinesitherapist.

Does anyone know how Julius Nyerere international Airport is divided into domestic and international flights? I have an itenerary with arrival at 15:00 and flying on to Zanzibar at 17:25. I have come to think about whether this is doable at all, as I also count on VOA. I it possible to wait with obtaining a Visa until my arrival in Zanzibar? I'm flying with two different airlines, so there is no transfer of luggage possible.

Hi, we are planning a trip either directly from Kigali to Arusha or from Kigali to Arusha via Mwanza. I have read some threats in this forum saying that transport in Western Tanzania is rather underdeveloped. But those post were 3 to 4 years old. So are there any new information on that? I have recently read that a Rwandan company called "Trinity Express" offers trips to Dar - maybe it is an option to get off the bus anywhere in TZ and change to Arusha? From the embassy website --

A validity of three (3) months with effect from date of issue and a maximum period of stay of ninety (90) days.

Does this mean you have 3 months to actually use the visa - and then from the date you use it the 90 days counts down or does the 90 days countdown from the day of issue...

I'm a UK national - has anyone done this recently - or would it be advisable to obtain one before hand -
ideally I would like to get one at the border as one issued here is valid for 90 days I won't be entering Tanzania til about 50 days into my trip and don't want to be sending my passport away in the Christmas period
