Hi , can anyone recommend where to hire a 4x4 in Dar es salaam. I want to self hire for 2 weeks during April and drive around the country.
Most of the places ive found on line have a prohibitive milage surcharge. I was hoping that theres some where I can hire an older vehicle without the surcharge as I plan on covering a lot of miles. Also does anyone have experience of driving around by themselves ? Did you get stopped and hassled by the police for bribes? I have a lot of experience in West Africa but not the East.
Any surgestions greatly appreciated!
