Hi,

Looking for people to join me on a Kilimanjaro climb up the Lemosho route. I've already booked with Paul Robert Shayo for departure on January 19th. This date is somewhat flexible. I've received a very good price for this route and Paul is a very well regarded guide (see other posts about him on this site). Please let me know if you would like to join. Also planning to do a safari afterwards.

Thanks!

KKM

Hey KKM,
I'm arriving at Kili airport on Jan 18, Jan 19 departure would work perfectly for me. I'm also interested in a 3/4 day serengeti/ngorongoro safari as well, immediately(as in the next day) after the climb, I'm short of time. Can you please contact me at vsrajan at hotmail dot com with more details?
Thanks

Hi there,

I am planning to visit Kenia/Tanzania in January and climbing Kilimanjaro is certainly on my list of things to do. I haven't made any detailed plans yet, but it would be nice to join a group. KKM, could you send some details on your plans?

Cheers,

Philip

Bizu - I climbed with Paul last August. If you're looking for fancy equipment he's not your guy. As with many budget providers, he rents his tents so they won't be the fanciest - but they'll be perfectly adequate. If you're looking for an honorable fellow who will deliver what he promised and do his best to ensure your safety and your chances of summiting, you'll be quite pleased with him. I had Danny as my Assistant Guide - he was lean and strong, knowledgable, and a nice young man. On Day 4 we had a porter come down with HAPE - Paul (by park rules) personally had to escort him down the mountain and to the hospital and Danny led us for the last 2 1/2 days. So assistants are also important. I'm not sure if Paul is climbing these days, I heard that he came down with malaria late last year.
