Hey, thanks. So, does it matter where you say you are going? For example, if I say Uganda and then head to Tanzania instead, is there any problem? (I mean, it doesn't seem like there should be, but...)

I don't see how this would be a problem since it doesn't say on the visa where you are on transit to. The only problem is that you must simply trust and hope that the transit visa is actually valid for 7 days (if that's what you need) when you say you want it, because as soon as you ask how long it is valid for they will assume that you are not actually on transit but have come for a short visit - at least that's what happened to me when I asked last time, so ended up getting the full visa even though I was only in Kenya for five days.

I had e mail chat with customer service at Scandinavia busline 2 days ago (about buying a ticket to Arusha from Nairobi the day before departure with a reservation). They were very much in business on this route, and most helpful. Try their website for the e mail.
