Has anyone climbed Mt Oldeani?
We're planning a safari and walking for early December and one of the things we thought about was walking up from Ngorongoro Park Village to Lake Eyasi over Oldeani. Is this do-able in a day? We'd be spending the night at the Lake. The LP book mentions is but doesn't say how for it is or how long it would take. Only looks like 15 - 20 miles on the map.
None of the safari companies we've contacted so far seem to have understood what we're trying to do.
I'm trying the NCA as well but thought I'd give you guys a shot and spread the info.
