I will arrive on 5. march - and fly home on 19. march 2016 in /from Daressalam. I would like to hike on Kilimanjaro, maybe the northern circuit. This takes about 9 days and is a very safe trip as you slowly go higher. I am now looking for a company which is not to expensive and would be happy for some people to join this trip. It will be less expensive with 2, 3 or 4 guests. Somebody likes to go? Somebody has experience and knows a good trekking company working in Tansania? I survived high altitude trekkings in Nepal and India, nearly in the same hight of Kilimajaro.

The Northern Circuit (also called Grand Traverse) is not crowded at all, except for the last days where it meets with Marangu. Few companies offer this route as it is longer and more expensive. But it is similar to the other routes as far as difficulty goes. You don't need to be a "Climber" for any Kili route. This route normally takes 9 days as it is significantly longer. Some people add a 10th day in order to sleep in the crater camp. If you are considering 8 days for the Northern Circuit, I would not recommend it unless they are cutting out Mawenzi. Then it is doable, but it is not going to be easy by any means.

I was there on October but i used one small company called Enosa Expeditions.
But to my understanding all the Kilimanjaro routes are very safe. May be you can try to check with them,they helped me
a lot before i went to Tanzania and after arriving there.

We are in Tanzania on our medical research. we will be coming back to climb Kilimanjaro for 8 days using Machame route to start on 6th March, 2016 till 13th March. on 14th March till 18th March we will take te 5 days safari to Ngorongoro, Serengeti, and Lake Manyara, p.m us for the details.

If you need excellent service on trek to Kilimanjaro , first of all start to investigate if that company has TALA to operate for Mt.Kilimanjaro services , 2nd check if that company offers good salaries and treatments to their porters , because sometime you can risk your life for booking a trip with middle-men or unrecognised company ...please becareful about these if you love yourself much...!!!!
